TMA Leadership CollegeTMA Lifelong Leadership ProgramThe TMA Leadership College (TMALC), available to early career physicians, is part of TMA%u2019s effort to ensure strong and sustainable physician leadership within organized medicine. This free program encourages physicians to get involved in organized medicine at the start of their career. The TMA Lifelong Leadership Program (LLP) provides a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip physicians with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in organized medicine, practice leadership, and advocacy. This free, self-paced 18-month program is available to any TMA member physician interested in leadership development training. Women Physicians SectionThe HCMS Women Physicians Section was established to strengthen female physicians%u2019 engagement and representation in HCMS and the Texas Medical Association through the development of relevant programming and services. Leadership opportunities are available. HCMS Business and Leadership Certificate (HCMS-BLC)The HCMS-BLC provides a comprehensive framework designed to significantly enhance physicians%u2019 understanding of the business of medicine and the skills needed to lead organizations. With a flexible timeline and a variety of learning opportunities, this program allows you to grow at your own pace while achieving tangible milestones. HCMS Business and Leadership Certificate (HCMS-BLC)Leadership TrainingNumerous Specialty Societies, International, and Affiliated Medical Societies operate in the Greater Houston area and offer various networking and leadership opportunities. The organizations form the HCMS Council of Specialty Societies and the HCMS Council of International and Affiliated Medical Societies. HCMS offers leadership opportunities within both Councils.
