NOTICE: Medserv cyberattack

Medserv, Inc. (“Medserv”), the service company of the Harris County Medical Society, was the victim of a recent cyberattack in which certain personal information submitted to Medserv by an authorized third party may have been compromised. Specifically, the incident may have involved personal information submitted to Medserv by physician practices in order to request pre-employment background checks of prospective employees. If you believe you may have been involved as a result of a background check performed on you by a medical practice in regards to prospective employment, or for more information about the cyberattack, click below.

Telemedicine flexibilities extended until Mar. 31, 2025

The government funding bill passed by Congress on Dec. 20 extends the current telemedicine flexibilities set to expire Dec. 31, 2024 for an additional 90 days through March 31, 2025.
