BOI - New deadline!

As of Feb. 19, 2025, the BOI reporting requirements are back in effect. The new deadline to file is March 21, 2025 for most companies. However, as of Feb. 27. 2025, FinCEN announced that it will not issue any fines or penalties for failure to report. No later than March 21, 2025, FinCEN intends to issue an interim final rule that extends BOI reporting deadlines. NOTICE: Medserv cyberattack

Medserv, Inc. (“Medserv”), the service company of the Harris County Medical Society, was the victim of a recent cyberattack in which certain personal information submitted to Medserv by an authorized third party may have been compromised. Specifically, the incident may have involved personal information submitted to Medserv by physician practices in order to request pre-employment background checks of prospective employees. If you believe you may have been involved as a result of a background check performed on you by a medical practice in regards to prospective employment, or for more information about the cyberattack, click below.
