  • Rules for Reporting CME's - As a prerequisite for physician registration, practitionersare required to complete continuing medical education (CME).  Physicians need to complete at least 24 hours of continuing medical education every 12 months.  At least half of these hours much be in formal category 1 courses.  A physician must report on the registration permit application if he or she has completed the required CME.  For more information on physician CME requirements, click here...
